Emerging UK artist Billy Holley joins new wave of talent with debut single Rising

British songwriter and composer Billy Holley releases his debut single Rising on Tuesday, September 9, positioning himself among a new wave of independent artists shaping the future of UK music.
With Grammy-level production and an uplifting message, Rising blends personal storytelling with stadium-ready ambition. The track explores themes of resilience and hope, striking a chord with listeners who connect with its soaring chorus and emotional delivery.
“Rising is about choosing hope when it would be easier to give up,” Billy explains. “I wanted to create something that’s not just personal, but also connects to anyone rebuilding after setbacks.”
The single has already attracted industry attention, being heard by Emmy Award–winning songwriter Jason Blume — who has written hits for Britney Spears and the Backstreet Boys — as well as radio presenter Spencer Clark, Grammy-winning producers, and label executives.

Although this is his first official release, Holley has already performed at venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Windsor Castle and the O2 Arena. With Rising, he now steps into the recording spotlight as one of the UK’s most promising emerging voices.
