BBC antiques expert David Harper joins local retirees to celebrate opening of Failsworth's newest retirement community

Local retirees gave a warm welcome to TV personality, David Harper who joined them to celebrate the official opening of a new Retirement Living development on Ashton Road West, Failsworth.

David, who has previously appeared on Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip, led the celebrations at McCarthy Stone’s Sydney Grange, where the BBC antiques expert performed a ceremonial ribbon-cutting before sharing details of his illustrious career.

Guests at the event spent time getting to know David over a glass of fizz, before taking a guided tour of the superb facilities within the community.
