Manchester is set to explode in a riot of colours this weekend as the region embraces Holi. The ancient Indian festival of colours has evolved far beyond its traditional roots to become a cultural phenomenon.

There is a range of events happening in Manchester to mark the Hindu festival that celebrates spring, love, and new life and the victory of good over evil, many of which can be found on event marketplace, Eventbrite.

Rain Dance Colour Festival is back with Elements 2025, a Global Celebration of Music, Nature & Wellbeing through Holi, the festival of colours at Platt Fields Park. It will provide the ultimate colour run experience for revellers to run, dance and laugh their way through a blast of colour and there will be live music and DJs, food and drink and entertainment.

Meanwhile, in Oldham, the community will get together for the Manchester Holi Festival 2025. Featuring a colour war, Bollywood DJ and open dance floor, food bazaar with street food from across India, face painting and bouncy castle, it’s an event for the whole family to enjoy.
