NOMA’s Happenings are a series of free events, clubs, talks, and workshops curated by Altogether Otherwise, where the theme changes every two months. This third Happening follows NOMA’s season of Sowing and Growing in March and April, where events are designed to keep the energy flowing and fill this city centre space with music and movement.
Ben Young, Founder of Altogether Otherwise and curator of the Happenings, said: “We're excited to make a big song and dance out of the next couple of months. Movement and song are key components of community, but they are something we haven't fully explored yet. Will Manchester want to come to our neighbourhood Céilí dance? We are pretty certain they will, as people continually demonstrate to us that there is a huge appetite for joining in and trying new things."
