Rising US comedy star Gianmarco Soresi will kick off his highly anticipated UK tour at Manchester's prestigious Stoller Hall on Tuesday, June 3, bringing his uniquely animated style and razor-sharp wit to Northern audiences.

The Manchester date marks the opening night of Soresi's British "Drama King" tour, giving Mancunians the first opportunity to experience live what over 1 million YouTube subscribers and nearly 1 million TikTok followers have been enjoying online.

With his trademark blend of upbeat candour and dark comedic beats, the Manchester show promises to set the tone for his subsequent performances in Cardiff, London, and Birmingham.

"My girlfriend is a British citizen, so this whole tour is more of an exploration of our options post-America," Soresi joked when announcing the dates. "But I was also positively overwhelmed by the turnout my last time in the UK and I'm looking forward to teaching more British people how to laugh."

The Stoller Hall, known for its intimate atmosphere and perfect acoustics, provides an ideal setting for Soresi's performative style and quick-fire delivery. Manchester comedy fans can expect a night filled with unexpected punchlines as the New York native mines his dysfunctional family dynamics, relationship challenges, and observations on contemporary culture.

Fresh from recording his first comedy special, Soresi is currently riding a wave of industry recognition, having been named one of Deadline's "Comedians Ready to Break Out in 2025" and featured in Vulture's "Comedians You Should and Will Know" list. His previous 'Leaning In' tour included successful UK dates, but this will be his first headline appearance in Manchester.

Whether discussing his recent ADHD diagnosis, discovering his girlfriend's coriander aversion too late in the relationship, or tackling more controversial topics like AI's acceleration of humanity's demise, audiences can expect the unexpected. As one fan perfectly summarised in an Instagram message: "I found one of the funniest comedians ever."
