LSH Auto to host Women in TV and Radio networking event
LSH Auto will host the next event in its Women of the Year (WOTY) Awards networking series at Mercedes-Benz of Stockport on Thursday, June 12. The evening will spotlight the achievements of women in television and radio, bringing together influential figures from the UK’s broadcasting industry for an evening of discussion, insight, and inspiration.
Hosted in partnership with the Women of the Year Awards, the not-for-profit event will be chaired by broadcaster Chelsea Norris of Happy Radio and will feature a panel of leading professionals from across the media landscape, including:
- Liz Fletcher, of Fletcher’s Family Farm
- Emma Morris, BAFTA-nominated Executive Editor of Morning Live and The One Show
- Isabelle Smith, award-nominated actress known for her role in Hollyoaks
- Dr. Punam Krishan, practicing GP and regular contributor to BBC Morning Live
- Kimberley Nixon, actress known for her TV roles in Cranford, Fresh Meat and Hebburn, and film appearances in Wild Child, and Angus, Thongs and perfect Snogging
The panel will explore personal journeys, career challenges, and the evolving role of women in broadcast media, offering a behind-the-scenes look into the industry and highlighting the importance of representation, resilience, and innovation.

The evening will begin at 6:30pm with welcome drinks, followed by a luxury shopping experience in a refined setting and the chance to win* a Mercedes-Benz AMG for a weekend.
Guests will enjoy a two-course menu by MasterChef’s Delia-Maria Asser. The main course features Arroz al horno – a baked rice dish with chicken, chorizo, and prawns, served alongside a selection of sauces including aioli, mojo rojo, and mojo verde. A vegetarian option with aubergine, artichoke, and green beans will also be available. For dessert, guests will be treated to Mantecados, a traditional Spanish shortbread delicately flavoured with orange, lemon, and cinnamon.
The panel discussion will commence at 7:30pm, followed by live music from Happy Radio’s Darren Proctor.
Tickets are priced at £40, with £10 from each ticket going directly to The Christie Charity, supporting life-changing cancer care and research.
This event is part of a wider partnership between LSH Auto and the Women of the Year Awards, now in its 43rd year, which celebrates outstanding female role models across the UK. The series brings together professionals from all sectors to engage in thoughtful conversation and support charitable causes.
