Manchester City only have one injury to contend with ahead of Saturday’s match.

Manchester City will hope to extend their winning run in the Premier League on Saturday, when the champions welcome Bournemouth to the Etihad.

After wins over Brighton & Hove and Manchester United, City could make it three straight victories when they face the Cherries. After a rare free midweek, Pep Guardiola’s side should also be relatively fresh for Saturday, while there’s only one player missing for the Blues.

Kevin De Bruyne is a long-term absentee for City, and he revealed on Wednesday that no timeframe has been set on his return to the side, despite Guardiola saying last month that the midfielder could be back ‘sooner than expected’.

However, Bournemouth aren’t in quite as fortunate a position, and the south coast side are expected to be without six players for Saturday’s game.

Lewis Cook is suspended following his recent red card against Wolverhampton Wanderers, while Ryan Frederick and Emiliano Marcondes won’t be back in time for the clash despite both players recently stepping up their recoveries from injuries.

“They haven’t started training with the group, but they are on the grass, individually,” Andoni Iraola said this week. “They are touching the ball, they are improving. They shouldn’t be very far from starting at least to partially train with the group, but they are still not there.”

Meanwhile, Bournemouth were last week forced to recall Mark Travers from his loan at Stoke City due to a lack of goalkeeper options. Neto is injured and Darren Randolph is set to miss out through illness. Andrei Radu made his league debut last week in the win over Burnley and is expected to retain his place in the side at the Etihad.

Out: De Bruyne (City); Neto, Randolph, Fredericks, Adams, Cook, Marcondes (Bournemouth).
