How the Man Utd players rated in the Premier League defeat to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday night.

Manchester United were emphatically beaten 4-0 by Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Monday night.

Goals from Michael Olise and Jean-Philippe Mateta gave the home side a 2-0 goal lead at half-time before Tyrick Mitchell and another from Olise after the break condemned United to another humiliating defeat in a season that has been full of them.

United's poor performance was caveated to a degree by the atrocious injury situation they faced heading into the clash at Selhurst Park, with both Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay unable to make the trip.

However, the injuries can not be used as the only excuse for what was a pitiful performance in which a makeshift defence was ran ragged and offered little protection by an underperforming midfield in front of them.

A defensive pairing of Jonny Evans and Casemiro were frequently exposed by the electric Palace attack, while Mason Mount and Christian Eriksen struggled to make a positive impact on rare starts for the pair in midfield.

The defeat means United have now lost 13 league matches so far this season, their most in a single campaign since the 1977/78 season in which they finished 10th in the top-flight and piles even more pressure on under fire boss Erik ten Hag.

Here is how we rated the United players in the defeat...
