An ‘unboxing video’ seems to show the jersey which will be worn by Manchester City in home games next season.

Manchester City’s 2024/25 home jersey has been ‘leaked’ online, with images and a video seeming to show the next sky blue jersey that will be worn by the likes of Erling Haaland, Jack Grealish and Kevin De Bruyne.

It has become common practice for shirts to be leaked ahead of time, and the new Manchester United away kit has already been revealed online, as was the case with home shirt ahead of this season.

@esvaphane on X specialises in leaked kits and posted an update which supposedly showed City’s new home kit, in addition to the likes of Arsenal, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain.

The new City shirt features ‘0161’ repeated on the detailing of the shirt collar and sleeves, a nod to Manchester’s dialling code. City proudly boast of being the only professional football team in Manchester, with United residing in Trafford, just outside the Manchester city region. That joke is what led to the memorable ‘Welcome to Manchester’ billboard when Carlos Tevez moved from red to blue in 2009.

Meanwhile, there is less white on the leaked kit than in previous years, with the 2024/25 version featuring black tips at the end of the sleeves and arms. An ‘unboxing video’ shows black stripes on the sides of the shirt. The puma kit also includes the same Etihad Airways sponsor, and OKX as the sleeve sponsor, as has been the case in recent seasons.

Whether City have the gold Premier League crest on their sleeve to indicate the previous year’s champions, will be determined in the coming weeks. Pep Guardiola’s side face Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United in the final three matches of the season, and if they win all three, will finish top of the pile for an unprecedented fourth campaign in a row.
